Partner information

Let Them Know is a free notification service for people who have been diagnosed with an STI to easily let their sexual partners know they might be at risk. It’s important for partners to know so they can get tested. Some STIs don’t have any symptoms.

Some people find it difficult to let their partners know face to face. Sending an anonymous notification helps look after their partners’ health. Partners can get tested and, if needed, get treated too.

What do I do next?

If you think you are at risk of an STI, you should get an STI checkup.

Any GP (local doctor) can test and treat you for an STI.

Many STIs are easily treated with antibiotics. Find out more about STIs by reading our fact sheets.
